WHAT IS APOGEE AMES

Apogee Ames is not a traditional school by any means. Our campus located on 32 beautiful acres and is designed to be a learning hub for our community to utilize as an outsource of support for education and life. We provide an assortment of resources that could check off all or some of the boxes within your learning journey. We provide coaches to guide young leaders and parents alike on their individual paths. You decide what works for your family and we are the support system with a buffet of choices you can select from. We offer full time, part time, enrichment days and a homeschool bridge program to fit your individual needs. Family and parent activities will be added as our community grows. If you are looking for a place for your homeschool co-op to gather or participate in hands on learning, we are a great fit for that as well. Enrichment days offer exposure to a wide variety of interests guided by mentors to help young leaders with self awareness of who they are and what sparks curiosity within them.

THE APOGEE DIFFERENCE

We believe in emphasizing learning, creativity and critical thinking versus teaching to a standardized test. Focus is not placed on hours put in, but getting meaningful work done. Our aim is set on skill acquisition over grades. Our model lets young leaders move at their own pace as compared to a one size fits all style. While we will not limit our campus to a specific denomination, there is an underlying biblical world view threaded within all that we do. We prioritize speech, logic and debate instead of authoritative direction and instruction. Our campus will be a health haven with movement, proper nutrition and mental health at the forefront of all we do. Time outdoors will be maximized as we are designed to be in nature not indoors all day. Parents, you are the main stakeholder in your family's education and value system. We are seeking your partnership and involvement to ensure the success of each young leader.
